SBC Events has struck a multi-year media partnership with CasinoNieuws.nl, making the Dutch gambling news platform the exclusive Dutch media partner for SBC Summit Europe, according to SBC News.

The agreement comes ahead of SBC Summit Europe's first edition at RAI Amsterdam, scheduled for 19 to 21 April 2027.

CasinoNieuws was founded in 2020 and has tracked the Dutch gambling market since the introduction of regulated online gambling in October 2021, reporting on the regulatory and commercial issues that continue to shape the sector.

Under the deal, CasinoNieuws will co-curate the event's dedicated Dutch market track alongside SBC's conference team, contributing to its themes, sessions and speaker selection. That programme is set to cover taxation, advertising restrictions, player protection, channelisation and enforcement, framed within a broader European context.

SBC CEO and founder Rasmus Sojmark said the company wants SBC Summit Europe to become "the annual meeting place for Europe's regulated gaming industry," and described building relationships within the Dutch market as central to that goal. He called the Netherlands "one of Europe's most interesting regulated gambling markets," citing lessons on taxation, player protection, channelisation and the commercial sustainability of licensed operators as relevant to wider European debate.

Frank Op de Woerd, CEO and editor-in-chief of CasinoNieuws, said bringing an event of this scale to Amsterdam was "a fantastic opportunity for the Dutch gambling industry," noting that the market has changed substantially in a short period. He added that the partnership gives CasinoNieuws a chance to put Dutch industry experience in front of a wider audience while bringing fresh perspectives back to its own readers.

The CasinoNieuws tie-up follows SBC's earlier partnership with VNLOK, the Vergunde Nederlandse Online Kansspelaanbieders, the Dutch trade body representing licensed online gambling operators. Where CasinoNieuws contributes editorial reach and market insight, the VNLOK arrangement is aimed at strengthening the participation and representation of licensed Dutch operators at the summit.

SBC Summit Europe's regulatory focus will also draw on the company's newly announced three-year strategic partnership with the International Association of Gaming Regulators and the International Masters of Gaming Law. The event opens on 19 April 2027 with an invitation-only SBC Leaders Regulatory Forum bringing together senior regulators, policymakers and industry figures, alongside a dedicated European Regulation track examining developments across the continent's licensed markets.

Beyond the regulatory agenda, SBC Summit Europe 2027 is expected to run a wider business, educational and networking programme across the three days at RAI Amsterdam. SBC projects more than 8,000 attendees, including over 3,000 licensed operator representatives, alongside 250 exhibitors and sponsors and 250 speakers.

The two-day exhibition will feature four conference stages and specialist forums covering lottery innovation, player protection, sports integrity, payments and blockchain, SBC said. Tickets for the event are due to go on sale shortly, with registration of interest and exhibition enquiries open in the meantime.
