Pragmatic Play sweeps top five of EGR's September slots tracker
Gates of Olympus 1000 led EGR's Global/dotcom Slots Tracker in September, with Pragmatic Play dominating the upper reaches of the chart while RTG's Fortunate Buddha made the sharpest climb.
EGR's Global/dotcom Slots Tracker for September showed Pragmatic Play's Gates of Olympus 1000 sitting at number one, with the studio also occupying positions two through five.
Spribe's Aviator kept hold of sixth place, while Play'n GO's Book of Dead stayed put at seventh, suggesting little disruption among the established names near the top of the chart.
Further down the table, RTG's Fortunate Buddha posted the largest gain of the month, climbing 14 places to land at 19th.
Hacksaw Gaming's Le Bandit also made ground, rising three positions to sit 15th.
Pragmatic Play did not have it all its own way, however. The Dog House Megaways 1000 dropped four places and only just held on to a spot in the rankings, finishing at 20th.
The tracker, compiled by EGM, measures slot performance across more than 2,000 casino sites operating under licences from regulators including Curaçao, Malta and Anjouan.
EGM's methodology scans the game pages of over 3,800 casino sites worldwide, with a title's position determined by how many game tiles it occupies across operator sites within regulated markets.
The tracking is confined to each site's main casino homepage, covering slots, instant games, scratch cards, Slingo and crash games. Table games, live dealer products, video poker and video bingo fall outside its scope.
For the September edition, EGM logged 35,189 individual games from 854 different studios spread across upwards of 2,000 sites.
The jurisdictions feeding into the ranking include Alderney, Anjouan, Antigua, the Bahamas, Belize, Costa Rica, Curaçao, Cyprus, Gibraltar, the Isle of Man, Kahnawake, Malta, Panama, the Philippines and Tobique.
