OpenBet Elevates Nikos Konstakis to CEO as Jordan Levin Steps Up to Chairman
Sports betting supplier OpenBet has confirmed a leadership handover for 2027, while Light & Wonder's SciPlay searches for a new chief executive after Josh Wilson's exit.

OpenBet has announced that chief executive Jordan Levin will move into the role of chairman at the end of 2026, handing the top job to current president Nikos Konstakis from 2027, according to SBC Americas.
Konstakis has been serving as OpenBet's president, where he has helped drive operational and commercial execution and shape the supplier's strategic direction. Levin will remain involved in setting OpenBet's long-term strategy in his new chairman role.
Levin said Konstakis had already been "instrumental in driving the evolution of OpenBet" and that he had "tremendous confidence in his leadership as CEO", pointing to his experience across multiple senior positions at the company. Konstakis said building OpenBet's customer base and pursuing expansion opportunities would be a key focus.
The transition comes roughly a year after OpenBet completed a $450m management buyout from Endeavor Group Holdings, the owner of WWE and UFC, in which Levin and other OpenBet executives took part. The supplier has also recently unveiled plans to acquire technology provider OmniLogic, a deal it says will bolster its position in the global lottery market.
Light & Wonder's social casino arm SciPlay is undergoing its own leadership change. CEO Josh Wilson will step down effective 30 October, with the company giving no reason for his departure after 13 years at Scientific Games and Light & Wonder.
Light & Wonder has started a search for a permanent successor. In the meantime, group chief financial officer Oliver Chow will run SciPlay alongside his existing CFO duties until a new leader is appointed. The parent company said it does not anticipate material changes to the SciPlay business during the transition.
Light & Wonder CEO and president Matt Wilson credited Josh Wilson with taking SciPlay "through its initial public offering and building a portfolio of leading social casino titles alongside a strong team and culture". He added that the company is "taking the time to appoint the right leader for SciPlay's next phase" and that its confidence in the social casino category and SciPlay's brands "remains unchanged".
Elsewhere in the sector, prediction markets platform Polymarket continued a run of senior hires by appointing former DoorDash general manager Collin McKinney Hill as vice-president of operations. Chief executive Shayne Coplan announced the move on X, describing DoorDash as one of the most operationally excellent businesses in the sector.
McKinney Hill joins a list of recent Polymarket appointments reported by SBC Americas that includes chief growth officer Travis VanderZanden, formerly of Uber and Lyft, first-ever CFO Warren Jenson, government relations head Rob Eskridge, chief compliance officer Megan McGrath from Robinhood, and chief risk officer Paul Jordan, a former Nasdaq executive.
