ARB Interactive Adds Prediction Markets to Modo Sweepstakes App

Miami operator ARB Interactive is folding prediction-market trading into a revamped Modo app, following rival MyPrize into a sector still facing federal and state scrutiny.

ARB Interactive has unveiled a redesigned version of its Modo sweepstakes platform that merges social casino games, arcades, digital collectibles and prediction-market trading into a single download, the operator announced on Monday, as reported by Casino.org News.

The Miami-based company is calling the overhaul the Super Gaming App. It brings together Modo's existing sweepstakes and arcade offering with a new collectibles feature and a forthcoming prediction-trading product under one account and wallet.

"Players shouldn't need five different apps to enjoy five different ways to play," said Patrick Fechtmeyer, chief executive of ARB Interactive. "We want Modo to be America's destination for gaming, bringing more products and experiences together under one account and one wallet."

The app is built around three functions. Play covers the existing Modo sweepstakes and arcade games. Rips lets players buy digital collectible card packs for a chance to win tokens and real-world prizes. Predict, still to launch, will offer real-money wagers on the outcomes of sporting and other events.

Modo is ARB Interactive's flagship brand and a leading name in the so-called "Social+" category of sweepstakes casinos. These platforms let consumers play casino-style games for free while selling a secondary "sweeps" currency that can later be redeemed for cash, a structure operators say allows them to run legally as promotional sweepstakes rather than traditional gambling.

State gaming regulators, attorneys general and the American Gaming Association have pushed back on that reasoning, arguing the model is designed to sidestep state gambling law. A growing list of states has acted against sweepstakes casinos through legislation or cease-and-desist orders, including California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Washington and West Virginia.

Prediction markets sit in a comparably unsettled position. Trading on sports outcomes gained federal approval under the second Trump administration, but the sector remains subject to ongoing state and federal scrutiny. With President Donald Trump in office through January 2029, Casino.org News notes that Congress is unlikely to pass legislation limiting the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's authority over these markets, and that a Supreme Court ruling applying state gaming law to federal swap markets would not by itself halt the industry.

That federal backdrop is keeping prediction markets attractive to online gaming operators regardless of the outcome of Tuesday's elections, in which Democrats were expected to make gains in Congress.

Modo follows MyPrize into the space. MyPrize became the first social sweepstakes casino to confirm a prediction-market move when it announced a partnership with Crypto.com in November 2025. ARB Interactive has not named a prediction-market partner for Modo.

Any launch depends on securing one. A sweepstakes operator cannot run prediction-market trading without a platform partner holding a Designated Contract Market licence from the CFTC, which authorises trading in futures, options and derivatives tied to commodities as defined under the Commodity Exchange Act.
