DATA.BET signs sportsbook deal with Africa operator SportsDay
The sports data and trading supplier has added SportsDay to its growing list of African partnerships as it closes out an expansion-heavy 2026.

DATA.BET has agreed a new partnership with Africa-focused operator SportsDay, SBC News reported, extending the supplier's push into the continent's betting market.
Under the deal, SportsDay will deploy DATA.BET's full sportsbook iFrame solution. This includes Managed Trading Services offering round-the-clock odds and risk management, alongside a Single Page Application for the betting interface.
DATA.BET will supply SportsDay with odds and data across traditional sports, esports and virtual sports, covering more than 100 disciplines, over 3,000 betting markets and around 100,000 events each month. The package also includes a bet builder and widgets such as a pitch tracker and scoreboards, built on DATA.BET's existing partnership with sportech and data firm Genius Sports.
Ajimuda Timilehin, Head of Marketing at SportsDey and Halla Gaming, said DATA.BET's technology and sports data expertise would complement the operator's aim of delivering "engaging and innovative sports experiences" to its users, adding that the companies look forward to "building a strong and mutually beneficial partnership together."
The agreement lands as DATA.BET enters the final quarter of what SBC News described as a highly active year for the firm. Previous 2026 deals have included supporting South Africa's Hollywood Bets in launching its esports betting offering.
DATA.BET has also moved into new product territory this year, entering the prediction markets space as it tracks the business-to-business opportunities opening up around the global growth of platforms such as Kalshi and Polymarket.
Otto Bonning, Head of Sales at DATA.BET, said the SportsDay partnership reflects the company's approach to expanding in the African market, covering "our full solution from trading to the user-facing experience."
SportsDay said it was excited to partner with DATA.BET and to explore the opportunities the collaboration creates for its community of sports fans.
