Dabble CEO Tom Rundle to step down after six years
Tom Rundle, the only chief executive the Australian social betting operator has had since launch, will leave Dabble at the end of October.

Dabble's founding chief executive, Tom Rundle, is to leave the Australian social betting operator at the end of October, according to EGR.
Rundle has led the business since it was established in 2020 and has remained its only CEO through its launch in July 2021 and subsequent expansion.
Before joining Dabble, he spent two years as chief operating officer at PointsBet, between June 2018 and May 2020. His earlier career spans Draftstars, where he was director of operations from March 2016 to June 2018, and CrownBet, where he served as head of product between December 2013 and March 2016.
Rundle also worked in the senior management of PokerStars' internal product team from May 2008 to December 2011, was head of technology at Tom Waterhouse's tipping service, and spent just over three years at Flutter-owned Sportsbet between January 2005 and March 2008.
Under his leadership, the privately owned Dabble pushed into the UK in May 2025 with its sports betting product, and secured an online casino licence in the same market at the start of 2026 as it sought to broaden its offering there.
Dabble co-founder Dave Robin credited Rundle with taking the company from a startup idea to an international operator. "Tom has been an incredible CEO for Dabble, joining us in July 2020 and being our first and only CEO up until now," Robin said. "During that time, we have grown from an idea to a global business operating in Australia, the US, and the UK, serving more than 3 million customers."
Robin added that Dabble intends to keep focusing on its betting product and widening its international reach. "We have more belief in the opportunity for Dabble than we have ever had, and are very excited about the future of the business," he said.
As a social betting firm, Dabble expanded into daily fantasy sports under Rundle, acquiring Moneyball Australia in 2023 and launching its Dabble Fantasy product in the US the same October.
EGR reported speaking to Rundle in June 2025 about the operator's US growth plans and the prospect of a standalone sportsbook launch there.
Dabble has drawn financial backing from Australian operator Tabcorp, which invested AU$33m, as well as from former AFL player Heath Shaw and ex-NBA player Andrew Bogut.
